Colonel Christie would not allow his wife to be questioned; aind said that she had com- pletely lost her memory and was "very ill in- deed.' Mr. and: Mrs. WaUtts arrived at Harrogate early yesterday morning and left the hotel with Colonel and Mrs. Cliristie by a back door for the.station. They entered a London train and changed at Leeds for Manchester. Mrs. Christie locked hlerself in the compartment with Mrs. Watts, Colonel Christie and Mr. Watts remain- ing oil guaird outside till just before the train left..
